Update on Hudson: After the neupogen shots all last weekend, Hudson’s ANC skyrocketed and was 196,000 on Monday. His platelets and RBCs were also both up on Monday. So we stopped the shots, and he had a good week hanging with grandma and grandpa while I worked a few days.

Clinic Update: Hudson and I went to STL for clinic today. Everyone was happy to see him and excited to see how great he looked! His platelets and RBCs were above his transfusion level. However, his ANC fell to 695, so we are starting him on neupogen shots again and will recheck labs on Monday at St. Francis.

CHEMO ROUND 4/TRANSPLANT ROUND 2 ✅💪🏻 We are HOME! Hudson and I made it home around 6:30 this evening, thanks to the intercession of Mary and our guardian angels working overtime!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our family and friends! I’ll start with an update - Hudson is doing well today. On Monday he started off the week feeling very puny. His ANC was 0 and he spiked a fever, was battling nausea/vomiting, and didn’t want to do much activity at all. Thankfully, he has slowly started to feel better this week, and he finally showed some ANC recovery - 98 yesterday and up to 678 today!

Update time! Hudson’s ANC finally bottomed out at 0 today, so now we wait for counts to climb! We are anticipating being here at least until the first week of December, but it will all depend on how his body recovers. He’s needed a few platelet transfusions and his hemoglobin was just above his threshold today, so he may need RBCs tomorrow.

Hudson is doing well so far this admission! Matt and I swapped today, and it was so so good to see my boys and give Hudson lots of snuggles! Hudson did great over the weekend. Matt said he handled the thiotepa baths fairly well (I wasn’t too sad to miss those this round).
