July 23 - Hudson’s MRI

9:01 AM: Hudson is in his MRI! Unfortunately it took a few tries to get his IV in place, but he was very brave through it all - I’m a proud mama. Thank you all so much for joining us in prayer for a clear scan with no evidence of disease!

Exactly two years ago today, we entered this hospital, after seeing Hudson fly away in a helicopter, with the knowledge that he had a brain tumor. There were so many unknowns and fears of what was to come. In those two years, we’ve been changed and formed by this journey - we’ve changed as people, as parents, as caregivers, as a family. As hard as they’ve been, we know God has used these two years for good, and He will continue to do so. And as much as we’ve seen change and growth in these last two years, some things remain the same - there’s road work on I-55, and we are completely relying on God to carry us through, whatever may come.
