May 3 - Overdue Update
I’m probably a little overdue for an update - we’ve been busy enjoying some “normal” life over here!
Hudson has been doing fantastic. He’s been back to daycare for 3 full weeks now. He still gets sad when we drop him off each morning, but I know he gets a little extra love and then jumps right in. His teachers have said he’s keeping up with the other kiddos and playing well. Sometimes waking up in the morning is hard (sweet boy got used to sleeping in!), but for the most part, he’s doing great!
Last weekend we were blessed to celebrate Hudson completing his treatment with family and friends! We’re so grateful to Kelsey & Jacob and Adam & Jackie for hosting a party in Hudson’s honor. And what a party it was! He enjoyed every minute. It was truly a blessing. 💛
Hudson is getting weekly dressing changes at St. Francis, but otherwise, he’s been appointment free since finishing radiation! May 22 is the big day coming up - MRI of brain and spine, oncology follow up, EKG and echocardiogram, hearing test, and eye appointment. All in one day. 😅 we’d appreciate any and all prayers you could offer for Hudson, most especially that his MRI remains no evidence of disease and that he continues to stay healthy.
May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month and the month of our Blessed Mother. We turn to Mary to intercede for Hudson and all those battling brain tumors. May she wrap them in her mantle and carry them to her son Jesus for healing!
