May 23 - MRI Results!

We are overjoyed to report that Hudson’s MRI yesterday showed no evidence of disease in his brain or spine!

In addition - he has no ototoxic hearing loss and his echocardiogram and EKG were “beautiful.” His labs are great. We couldn’t want for more. His ophthalmology appointment was rescheduled for June due to the provider being out of the office (which ended up being a blessing because he was just waking from sedation at the appointment time).

We are thanking God for the way He has protected and provided for Hudson and our whole family throughout this journey. We are thanking Him for our community of prayer warriors who have held us up from day one. We are thanking Him for the gift of our sweet Hudson! What a gift he is!

Surveillance will continue every 3 months for at least this first year. We are taking this win today and praying for continued healing, hope, and joy. Although the battle is not over, this is a big victory. Praise God!

Hudson will have his broviac line removed on June 5. We can’t wait for a fun summer full of summer things!
