August 28 - Surveillance Testing
Family, friends, prayer warriors - we are quickly approaching Hudson’s three month surveillance MRI. We’ll go on Tuesday (9/2) for a sedated MRI of his brain and spine as well as a follow up with his neuro oncologist Dr. Cluster. This is a routine exam to make sure the cancer has not returned. Hudson is doing remarkably well and is learning and growing every day. He’s thrown away his paci and loves his new big boy bed. He is mostly potty trained with only occasional accidents. He had his well check earlier this week and is right on his growth curve, as if nothing ever happened. He is getting so big and so smart!
We’d appreciate any prayers you could offer for Hudson over the next few days and on Tuesday. We are praying specifically for a clear scan with no evidence of disease, for good tolerance to the sedation (and good tolerance to the placement of an IV, which he hasn’t needed since prior to getting his central line last year), and for peace and trust in God’s plan. If you are able to wear your Hope for Hudson gear on Tuesday as reminder to pray for him, we’d love to see it! Thank you all in advance for your prayers and support.
